After the success of our Nude Oud, we went back into the lab to create a follow up fragrance, aptly named Mood For Oud. It's a darker, more mysterious version that again incorporates Agarwood CO2, a woody animalic scent that blends well in exotic compositions. Whose ready for the smoke show? This isn't your peepaw's cologne, Smoke n' Oak is a modern smoky woody fragrance with a true pipe tobacco base. The combination of birch tar and pipe tobacco provides a beautifully masculine scent that blends harmoniously together and effuses a rich smokiness that is so addictive. Oakwood Absolute, a rare and luxurious wood that is smooth yet intense with whiskey-like undertones, provides the oak in the smoke. Vanilla essential oil smooths out the fragrance a bit, so it literally doesn't catch on fire. Vetiver essential oil gives it the final touches. Teak Wood, a sweet and supple wood fragrance used in high end furniture provides the backdrop for this woody fragrance, Cheeky Teaky. We felt this fragrance needed another woody component to complement the Teak Wood, Cedarwood provides the perfect synergy, which gives it a dry woody aroma, which is slightly camphoraceous, smoky and balsamic...very subtle with a hint of spice. Nutmeg and Lemon are the top notes, which then gives way to Neroli essential oil, which comes from the bitter orange tree. This scent provides the perfect mood balance of cheeky, yet playful.
